Kazakhstan still main consumer of goods from Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan remains the main consumer of goods from Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Director of the State Agency for Promotion of Investments and Export, Adilbek uulu Shumkarbek, stated today at a round table discussion.

According to him, as the governments of the two countries did not sign the road map, the reasons will be discussed at the level of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

«The Kyrgyz government is already looking for alternative markets for the sale of its products. Kazakhstan and Russia are still the main consumers of our products. They are the main partners in the trade, but we need to look for new markets,» Adilbek uulu Shumkarbek said.

He added that Kyrgyzstan is considering the possibility of delivering goods to China, Uzbekistan and other countries. The working group studies the purchasing power of these countries and decides which goods we can deliver.
