Today, a bridge across Alamedin River was officially commissioned in Bishkek near the 12th microdistrict. The mayor of the capital, Albek Ibraimov, who took part in the opening ceremony, reported that the length of the bridge is 54 meters, width — almost 15 meters.
«Along with this bridge, 12 streets are to be opened in Bishkek today, and 12 bridges are being built,» the mayor said. According to him, the new bridge will allow citizens to move from east to west along Bishkek, without entering the city.
This is elevated bridge with a road under it, moving along which one can get to Aaly Tokombayev Street through Karalayev Street. Construction of the facility was carried out in the framework of the project for repair and construction of roads at the expense of a grant from the government of the People’s Republic of China, under which 49 streets will be renovated in the capital.
