Kyrgyzstan overfulfills its electricity export plan

Kyrgyzstan for 7 months exported 573.1 million kilowatt-hours under the plan of 410 million. This was reported at a meeting of the republican headquarters for the preparation for the autumn-winter period-2017/2018.

According to the headquarters, for 7 months in the country produced 8 billion 848 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. The thermal power plants generated 619 million kilowatt hours, hydroelectric power plants — 8 billion 124, and Chakan HPP — 103.7 million kilowatt hours.

As noted, the export of electricity was realized due to the accumulation of water in the Toktogul reservoir.
