Parliament of Kyrgyzstan to approve date of presidential elections 2017 tomorrow

Tomorrow, Kyrgyz deputies of Parliament will approve the date of the presidential election. Member of SDPK faction, Dastan Bekeshev, told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, this issue is on the agenda.

Earlier, the people’s deputies adopted in two readings amendments to the law «On elections of the President and Deputies of Parliament." They are about observers, electoral pledge and the day of voting. Previously, the date of the main political event of 2017 — November 19 — was voiced. Then it was reported that the elections will be held on October 15.

If tomorrow the Parliament approves October 15 as the date of the presidential election, then the CEC will begin official registration of candidates for the post on June 15.
