Government tells about EEU technical regulations

The members of the government of Kyrgyzstan told whom the technical regulations of the EEU would be applied to. The Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov clarified the situation at a press conference today.

According to him, a number of transitional provisions for Kyrgyzstan were approved at country’s entry into EEU, for example, phased introduction of technical regulations.

«In August, 18 more regulations will come into force. They concern the producers of food and garment products," Oleg Pankratov said.

He added that those, who are engaged in export, work under the regulations from the moment of joining the union. «The situation will not change in general for the exporters. It’s about the risks and threats for those who work in the domestic market. Since August 12, they will have to comply with the regulations," Oleg Pankratov said.
