Dollar rate in Kyrgyzstan rises in price after intervention of National Bank

After three interventions of the National Bank, the dollar exchange rate in Kyrgyzstan began to rise in price. For a day, it rose in price by 50 tyiyn.

Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy the dollar for 66.9–67.1 soms, and sell -for 67.3–67.4 soms. The nominal rate is 67,1393 soms (a day’s decline is 0.02 percent).

Note, this week the NBKR for the third time entered the foreign exchange market with an intervention buying dollars. Since the beginning of the month, it has bought $ 16,160 million.
