70 officials brought to administrative responsibility in 2016

In 2016, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan brought to administrative responsibility 70 officials in connection with violation of guarantees of equal opportunities for women and men, First Deputy Prosecutor General Kylychbek Toktogulov said at the meeting of Onuguu-Progress faction, where the department’s report for the past year is being considered.

According to him, «152 inspections were carried out to comply with this law, 114 proposals, 56 demands, 14 warnings were issued.

The greatest number of violations occurs in the sphere of land use.

«Based on the results of 750 inspections in this sphere, there have been issued 323 proposals, 231 demands, 43 warnings and 270 officials were brought to administrative responsibility," Kylychbek Toktogulov added.
