According to its data, the laboratory was opened at the Department of Agricultural Crops Examination.
As it was reported, the institution will be a diagnostic, advisory and methodological center on phytosanitary diagnostics in the region.
Complex provision of services for analysis of quarantine facilities, setting phytosanitary conditions and issue on conformity of certificates for export will be carried out, the statement says.
The laboratory has equipment that meets the standards of EEU.
It will carry out an examination of five kinds: entomological, mycological, bacteriological, herbological and nematological.
According to the ministry, 5,353 million soms were spent on equipping the laboratory.
Phytosanitary certificates, issued on the basis of the conclusion of these laboratories, are recognized in more than 70 countries, the ministry noted.
