Protesters in Bazar-Korgon ready to block road if Tekebayev not released

Protesters in Bazar-Korgon are ready to block road if the leader of Ata Meken Omurbek Tekebayev is not released. Participants of the rally informed 24.kg news agency.

A yurt is set nearby the district administration building. According to witnesses, there are about 500 people. The protesters have one demand — to release Omurbek Tekebayev. Otherwise, they promise to take other measures.

The leader of Ata Meken Omurbek Tekebayev was detained on February 26 at Manas airport upon arrival from Istanbul. He is charged with fraud and corruption.
