The Immortal Regiment march will be held in Kyrgyzstan on May 9. Zulfira Khaibullina, coordinator of Immortal Regiment — Kyrgyzstan movement in Bishkek, told at a briefing.
According to her, the decision to hold the march was made at the end of last week.
«Today is very good news, we can finally announce to everyone that the Immortal Regiment will take place on May 9,» Zulfira Khaibullina said.
She confirmed that the march will take place in all regions, cities and villages of the country. In Bishkek, the march will be held as usual:
- Formation: 8 a.m. at the Southern Gate;
- Start: 9 a.m.;
- Route: from the Southern Gate along Baytik Baatyr Street, then along Abdrakhmanov Street, then along Frunze Street to Victory Square.
Zulfira Khaibullina told that the issues of coordinating the march in the capital are currently being agreed upon with the Bishkek City Hall.
In addition to Bishkek, the march has been confirmed in the cities of Osh, Jalal-Abad, Kant, Kara-Balta and Ivanovka village, where local coordinators of the movement are working.
