Festive events dedicated to Kyrgyzstan’s State Flag Day and Ak Kalpak Day, celebrated on March 5, were held in Batken.
Young people wearing ak kalpaks and holding national flags marched through the city’s central streets. Participants noted that this event symbolizes respect for state symbols and national traditions.
Aibek Shamenov noted: «We should unite under our sacred flag, hold the ak kalpak high, and continue to work for the development of the country.»
The festive program concluded with performances by local artists, who performed songs and national dances.
