New head coach of women’s national football team of Kyrgyzstan has been appointed. The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) announced.
According to the KFU, the team will be coached by Spanish specialist Antonio Mesa.
«This decision was made at the KFU Executive Committee meeting on February 10. Nematzhan Zakirov previously held this position. In addition to the national team, Mesa will also remain at the helm of the women’s national team (U17), which he took over in February 2025,» the statement reads.
