Four schools in Suusamyr rural district of Chui region have switched to online learning due to severe frost, the head of the district reported.
According to him, nighttime air temperatures dropped to −48°C, while daytime temperatures ranged from −33°C to −35°C.
«Because of the extreme cold, schools in the villages of Tunuk, Suusamyr, Birinchi Mai, and Kojomkul have switched to online learning,» he said.
