Illegally privatized land plot of KSMA returned to state

The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detected a land plot and building previously belonging to the Isa Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA), which was illegally removed from state control in 1998 and transferred to private ownership.

However, according to paragraph 6 of Article 43 of the Law «On Education» of December 16, 1992, No. 1074, buildings, land plots, material and technical resources of state educational institutions are not subject to privatization.

Following the investigation, the owner of the land plot and building voluntarily and gratuitously transferred it to the State Property Management Agency.
