The sites for the construction of nine Kyrgyz-Russian schools have been chosen and registered. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
During a meeting of the republican headquarters led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev, the progress of the agreement, under which Russia will build schools in Kyrgyzstan, was discussed in detail.
Funds have already been allocated from the republican budget for 2025 for the construction of external utility networks and the preparation of land plots.
In October 2024, the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved in three readings a bill on the ratification of an agreement with Russia on the provision of a grant for the construction of nine Russian-language schools. They will be built according to a standard design for 1,224 children. The project will be implemented by the Eurasian Development Bank.
