The volume of mutual trade between Kyrgyzstan and the EAEU countries amounted to $3.8 billion. Deputy Head of the National Statistical Committee, Bakytbek Shokenov, announced the data for the first nine months of 2024.
According to him, this figure increased by 15.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The largest share of mutual trade was with Russia — 72.5 percent, with Kazakhstan — 25.7 percent.
An increase in the export of footwear, knitted fabric, plastic products, milk and dairy products, beef, vegetables, mechanical equipment, ferrous metals and textiles was recorded.
At the same time, a decrease in the export of vehicles, ceramic tiles, ore and concentrates of precious metals, fruits, nuts, knitwear, glass, electrical machinery and equipment, bakery and confectionery products was registered.
A decrease in imports of cement, coal, land vehicles, fertilizers, sunflower oil, soap and detergents, paper, cardboard, processed fruit and vegetable products, plastics, electrical equipment, wood, mechanical equipment, bakery and flour confectionery products, as well as mineral and carbonated water was also recorded.
