One of the most important components of the partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan are cultural and humanitarian ties, said Vladimir Putin, speaking to the participants of the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation. The event was held at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
According to the head of state, the two countries are bound by relations of strategic partnership and alliance, they effectively cooperate within the Eurasian Economic Union, CIS, CSTO, SCO and other international structures. In addition, he noted that Russia is also among Kyrgyzstan’s leading trade partners.
«And, of course, one of the most important components of the Russian-Kyrgyz partnership are cultural and humanitarian ties, which traditionally have a multifaceted character and actually contribute to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples,» Vladimir Putin said.
He congratulated the participants of the ceremony on the opening of the Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and wished «the fraternal Kyrgyz people prosperity and well-being».
