SCNS Academy opened in Bishkek with participation of Sadyr Japarov

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in the opening ceremony of the Academy of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) named after Lieutenant General A. Bakayev in Bishkek. The press service of the head of state reported.

«Sadyr Japarov congratulated the participants on the opening of the academy and emphasized that the current political situation, both in the world and in the region, requires from national security agencies implementation of the necessary measures to successfully fulfill the tasks assigned to them. He emphasized the importance of high professional training, analytical thinking and determination for operations staff,» the statement said.

By decree of the president, the academy was established on the basis of the Institute for Professional Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel. It will become a specialized higher military educational institution with a scientific and methodological center aimed at training and advanced training of professional employees of security agencies, as well as the relevant units of the Ministry of Defense.

Sadyr Japarov recalled that specialists for national security agencies were previously trained in educational institutions of the Federal Security Service of Russia.

According to him, the academy will also engage in development of professional skills for intelligence, counterintelligence and active search measures. It provides for training military specialists under a professional training program for a period of five years, and courses for professional retraining and advanced training of operational personnel for a period of up to one year were organized.
