An earthquake hit south of Kyrgyzstan this morning. According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences, an earthquake with a magnitude of about 3 in the epicenter occurred today at 8.39 a.m. on the border of Osh and Jalal-Abad regions.
The earthquake center was located 9 kilometers southeast of Orkazgan, 13 kilometers northeast of Ak-Terek village.
Tremors of magnitude 2.5 were felt in Orkazgan and Ak-Terek villages.
