The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan decided to check compliance with the terms and proper fulfillment of obligations of license agreements for a number of deposits, including Taldy-Bulak, Solto and Andash, which are located in Talas region. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
A working group was formed «to conduct an independent and comprehensive audit.»
It must study the license agreements between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision and Andash Mining Company LLC, signed on April 6, 2015 and August 28, 2023.
According to the register of the Ministry of Justice, the head of Andash Mining Company LLC is Talgat Abykanov, the founder is GeoMining Group Limited Liability Partnership.
The working group will also check the licensing agreements between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision and Kyrgyzgeology state enterprise, signed on March 23, 2023.
The subject of the check will also be the agreement between Kyrgyzgeology state enterprise and Talas Copper Gold LLC dated March 27, 2023.
After completing the check, the working group has to submit a corresponding conclusion to the head of the Cabinet.
