More than 1,000 migrants were legalized through fictitious companies in Moscow, the press service of the capital’s Department of the Interior Ministry of Russia reported.
The activities of an organized group that legalized over 1,000 migrants through fictitious companies in the construction sector have been stopped.
«The preliminary income from the shadow business exceeds 5 million rubles, and the number of legalized foreigners is over a thousand people,» the press service said.
The participants in the scheme created commercial organizations through a front man. They signed fictitious employment contracts with migrants, allowing them to extend their stay in Russia.
