Kyrgyzstan increased its cattle imports from Kazakhstan fivefold in the first half of 2024. The National Statistical Committee provided the data.
According to the agency, in January-June, the Kyrgyz Republic imported more than 3,500 heads of cattle from Kazakhstan worth $710,000. This is five times more than in the same period last year — 711 heads of cattle worth $321,000 were imported in 2023.
