Second stage of Sambo World Cup: Kyrgyzstani takes third place

The competitions in sport and combat sambo have started in Cholpon-Ata city as part of the second stage of the World Cup. Women competed on the first day.

Kyrgyzstani Yuson kyzy Akak took third place in the weight category up to 54 kilograms in sport sambo. Elmira Kakhramanova took first place, Margarita Barneva — second. The Kyrgyz athlete shared bronze with Elena Kupavo.

All the winners, except for the Kyrgyzstani, are representatives of the Russian sambo school. The Russian team, we recall, participates in all tournaments, except for national ones, under the name FIAS-1 with the flag and anthem of the International Sambo Federation.
