At least 312 billboards have been dismantled in Bishkek. The press service of the City Hall reported.
According to its data, the work is carried out by the Department for Land Use Control together with the Tazalyk state enterprise and with the support of the Department of the Patrol Police Service.
The municipality called the dismantling «a significant step towards the renewal of outdoor advertising and improving the aesthetic appearance of the capital».
«A convincing request is to dismantle advertising structures voluntarily. After all, the replacement of outdated metal structures with modern LED screens will give Bishkek a more aesthetic look,» the city administration said.
