Kyrgyzstan was warned against violating sanctions against the Russian Federation. The Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev said at a press conference.
«Of course, there are different moments. They [the EU] warn us against violating the sanctions,» he said, commenting on the meeting with the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell held in Bishkek.
At the same time, the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan emphasized that the issue of sanctions against Russia was a secondary topic at his meeting with Josep Borrell.
He noted that the main focus of the meeting was on the problems of activating economic cooperation between the EU countries and the Central Asian republics, including Kyrgyzstan.
