Work of two illegal children's religious camps stopped in Bishkek

The activities of two illegal children’s religious camps were stopped in Bishkek. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

The camps operated without registration with the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. They educated 110 children, boys and girls aged from 6 to 17 years old.

The organizer of the illegal camps was a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, 32.

The inspection revealed violations in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards and educational programs. The activities of the illegal children’s religious camps have been suspended and an investigation is underway.

The SCNS warns parents: before sending children to various religious institutions, including children’s religious camps, make sure that they operate in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
