Illegally working religious camp for girls detected in Kyrgyzstan

An illegally operating religious camp for girls was detected in Kyrgyzstan. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

According to it, Maryam camp, without registration, conducted classes for girls from 9 to 18 years old, where they studied tajwid and read namaz.

The camp belongs to a native of Batken region, 54. The commission detected violations of fire safety, sanitary and epidemiological standards, educational programs and others. Teachers and educators of the religious camp do not have pedagogical or religious education. The camp’s activities have been suspended until the existing shortcomings are eliminated.

Operational and investigative activities continue.

The SCNS appeals to all citizens: before sending children to various religious institutions, including children’s camps, make sure that the facility operates in accordance with the law. Keep your children safe.
