At least 36 foreigners were taken to the police station after a mass brawl in Bishkek. The press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Sverdlovsky district reported.
The incident occurred on June 10 at about 11.30 p.m.
102 service received a report that seven or eight foreigners had arranged a fight. Law enforcers visited the place. It was established that the foreigners fought because of a quarrel.
«Thirty-six people were taken to the police — they are citizens of Pakistan and Bangladesh. 16 protocols were drawn up for violation by foreigners of the established order of stay, rules of labor activity in the Kyrgyz Republic or transit passage. The Sverdlovsky District Court found one foreigner guilty under the article «Petty hooliganism» and fined him 5,500 soms. In addition, two more participants of the fight were arrested for three days,» the statement says.
The law enforcement agency added that two foreigners were under the influence of alcohol and drugs. An explanatory conversation was held with the rest of the foreigners.
