Kyrgyzstan has started the next stage of the implementation of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway construction project. The press service of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise reported.
A meeting of the General Director of the company, Azamat Sakiev, with a delegation of Chinese Railways State Corporation led by Deputy Director Wang Tongjun took place in Jalal-Abad. On-site activities were carried out along the projected and existing railway line to collect additional data for the previously developed feasibility study for the project.
«Based on the results of a preliminary joint field research, further steps were determined and specific activities were developed for subsequent work as part of the development of project documentation. As part of the visit of the delegation from China, meetings and conferences are planned in Bishkek, as well as visits to railway construction sites in Naryn region,» the statement says.
