Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Erkinbek Osoev met with representatives of the First Design and Survey Institute of the China Railway Construction Corporation, headed by a Senior Engineer Geng Jun. Press service of the ministry reported.
According to it, the parties noted that it is necessary to step up cooperation in the construction of railways. In particular, active work is being carried out to promote the implementation of a joint project for the construction of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway.
There is an agreement on the joint development of a feasibility study for the construction of the railway. The leadership of Kyrgyzstan is aimed at the speedy implementation of the project. 80 specialists from the PRC Design Institute have arrived in Kyrgyzstan and are already preparing the feasibility study.
