Specialists from China arrived in Kyrgyzstan as part of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway construction project. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said during a meeting of the first People’s Kurultai.
According to him, Chinese specialists are conducting research in Naryn and Jalal-Abad regions.
«We have reached an agreement on the construction of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway. This was discussed from the first years of our independence, but due to the opposition of some political interests, this issue was not resolved. Construction of the railway will give access to the sea and will attract investment to our country,» Sadyr Japarov said.
