Uzbek Railways reported that the office would coordinate joint efforts to expedite construction work. A feasibility study for the project is being developed at the current stage. It is developed by theChina Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Co.
The feasibility study for the China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway construction project is planned to be ready by June 1, 2023.
Earlier, the head of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, reported that in April, the PRC Design and Survey Institute should submit documents to the republic. Construction will cost from $3 to $5 billion.
