The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan met with the Vice President of Open AI company Arka Dhar.
Akylbek Japarov noted that the government in every possible way supports Kyrgyz startups engaged in the development of artificial intelligence. He told about the acquisition of a supercomputer last year to train artificial intelligence in recognizing the Kyrgyz language and further develop the language.
«As a prime minister, I am concerned that the Kyrgyz language is not yet so widespread in the digital world. I believe that languages that are not digitized will have the same fate as those that did not have a writing system, they will disappear. For us, the preservation and development of the Kyrgyz language is a matter of national sovereignty,» the official said.
He emphasized the Cabinet’s readiness for long-term cooperation with Open AI.
«We are ready to act as a platform for testing and piloting your company’s innovative technologies. We are now making decisive steps in the digitalization of the state and are ready to use artificial intelligence in the reform of public administration,» Akylbek Japarov said.
Arka Dhar, in turn, expressed readiness for further cooperation, exchange of experience in the development of projects using artificial intelligence.
