Ministry of Water Resources may be created by the end of 2024 in Kyrgyzstan. The Minister of Agriculture Askarbek Dzhanybekov said, answering questions from journalists at a press conference.
«There is already a need to create a separate department for water issues. It will be a big organization. Therefore, we will consider it step by step and plan to come to the creation of such a ministry at the end of next year,» he said.
Askarbek Dzhanybekov added that this issue was raised in the Parliament and at the last People’s Kurultai.
Previously, such an initiative was made by deputy of Parliament Emil Toktoshev.
