Minibuses to run on one-way streets in Bishkek

Minibuses will run on streets that will be made one-way. The press service of the Bishkek City Hall confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.

The municipality’s transport department has developed traffic schemes that will increase capacity on central two-way streets.

Minibuses will run on one-way streets, and only buses and trolleybuses will run on central streets.

«For example, minibuses will travel along Tynystanov or Ibraimov Street, and only trolleybuses and buses will travel along Abdrakhmanov Street,» the City Hall noted.

It was previously reported that sections of eight streets in the capital will become one-way, and two, on the contrary, will have two-way traffic.
