Russia provided humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan in the form of 742 tons of flour and 60 tons of vegetable oil. The Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The transfer of aid for low-income local residents took place in Osh.
The Russian Embassy clarified that the humanitarian aid was delivered within the framework of a Russian-funded UN World Food Programme project. The flour and oil will be distributed among 18,000 residents of the southern regions as a reward «for participation in social projects.»
