Kyrgyzstan to get modern technologies for wastewater treatment facilities

Kyrgyzstan has started production of wastewater treatment facilities based on patented technology of South Korean company. Rakhat Zhunushbaeva, founder of SKY TUNUK, said at an environmental forum dedicated to the problems of preserving Issyk-Kul lake.

According to her, four types of treatment facilities are offered in the republic’s market.

«These are treatment of household wastewater, industrial wastewater, treatment of wastewater from oil — oil traps and dust collectors,» Rakhat Zhunushbaeva told.

Jeong Taewon, an environmental specialist from South Korea, added that Korea is ready to transfer patented technologies to Kyrgyzstan. This, he said, will allow the local company to gain access to high-quality innovative technologies.

«We plan to exchange knowledge and experience, which will help the local firm to improve its competitiveness and efficiency,» Jeong Taewon said.
