Turkish Cinema Week was opened as part of the International Bishkek Festival. The organizers reported on Instagram.
The opening was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Kyrgyzstan Timurlan Azhymaliev, Chairman of the festival jurySemih Kaplanoğlu, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Serdar Çam, and the guest of honor — the famous Turkish actress Türkan Şoray.
During the week, such films as «Akyrky kechki tamak», «Khasandyn ishenimduulugu», «Eflatun», «Buudaidyn bir dany», «49», «Bir chymchym karanfil» and «Rafadan Taifa — Galktika tobu» will be screened free of charge.
After the screenings, meetings and interviews with actors, directors and producers are held.
