Sadyr Japarov to leave for Japan on November 17

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will make an official visit to Japan on November 17-20. The head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Executive Office, Muratbek Azymbakiev, confirmed the information.

«As part of the visit, meetings and negotiations will take place with the Emperor Naruhito, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Speaker of Parliament Fukushiro Nukaga, members of Parliament, as well as with the management of such structures as ROTOBO, JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents), JBIC (Japan Bank for International Cooperation), JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency),» he said.

During the meetings, the parties will discuss current issues on the development and expansion of bilateral Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, consular and visa areas. During the visit, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.

November turned out to be a busy month for the President. Sadyr Japarov visited Tashkent, where a meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization was held. He then went to Paris, where he held talks with the country’s leader Emmanuel Macron and met with the heads of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, UNESCO and a number of companies. After France, the head of state visited Saudi Arabia, where the Islamic Summit was held.
