Mass arrests of suspects in armed robbery, extremism and terrorism took place in Osh city. The Internal Affairs Department of the city reported.
A group of unknown people committed a robbery at a currency exchange office in April. The amount of damage reached 3.6 million soms.
Investigative measures were started. 17 people, including three women, were detained on suspicion of committing the crime. Thirteen were arrested by court order, three were placed under house arrest, one was killed during a special operation in Chui region.
According to investigators, the group is involved in 29 crimes.
On November 9, searches were carried out in several houses in Osh, during which weapons, ammunition and grenades, as well as CDs and literature in Arabic were discovered and confiscated.
At least 11 people were detained, several of them were previously wanted.
