Mosque opened in native village of President of Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov opened a new mosque in Ken-Suu village, Tyup district, Issyk-Kul region, the press service of the head of state reported.

The new mosque named after Mustaly uulu Nurgozho Azhy, designed for 1,500 people, was built on the site of the old one at the expense of Assanabil International Charity Foundation.

As of today, work on improvement of the area around it has been completed.

The head of state noted that the majority of the population of Kyrgyzstan professes Islam and the Kyrgyz firmly keep the faith in the Almighty in their hearts.

Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that the new mosque would help strengthen peace and harmony in society, calling on young people to strive for spiritual morality and the true values of Islam.

The President firmly believes that the new facility will become a center of faith that brings up people who are patriotic and caring for their fellow countrymen.

Sadyr Japarov, on his own behalf and on behalf of the villagers, thanked the charity foundation, in particular its head Said Bayumi, who supported the construction of the mosque.

Previously, a new Islamic cultural center in Jalal-Abad city was also named after the president’s father—Nurkozho azhy Mustaly uulu.
