The Heads of the CIS agreed to raise the status of the position of the head of the executive body of the Commonwealth. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced at a meeting of the CIS Heads of State in an expanded format.
«I sincerely thank you for your support of our initiatives and active participation in events under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan,» Sadyr Japarov said.
The head of state said that the Russian Federation would take over the chairmanship of the Commonwealth from January 1, 2024.
