Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved the appointment of Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva as Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Education and Science.
The candidate was introduced by Almasbek Abytov, President’s and Cabinet of Ministers’ Permanent Representative to the Parliament. He noted that Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva received a higher education at the Kyrgyz State University in 1991.
She started her labor career as a worker at Orgochor breeding farm. Then she worked as an education consultant for ADB’s Community-Based Early Childhood Development project, head of the Issyk-Kul Regional Education Department, director and coordinator of regional educational organizations in Issyk-Kul region.
From July 2012 to September 2014, she served as Deputy Minister of Education and Science. In 2014, she resigned at her own request.
In 2014-2023, she was the executive director of the International Public Foundation Roza Otunbayeva Initiative.
Former Education Minister Kanybek Imanaliev was dismissed from the post of Education and Science Minister on September 7.
