Series of photographs "Women of Kyrgyzstan" wins 1st place at festival in Sweden

A series of photographs «Women of Kyrgyzstan» by a photographer Anna Biret from France took the first place at the Gothenburg Street Photo Festival in Sweden. The author of the photos announced on Instagram.

«Individually the images are strong, very pleasantly balanced in composition and color. Beautifully crafted photographs, using layering in wonderful ways. But the real power again is in the combination of images. As a whole, this collection just works,» one of the jury members of the festival said.

The Gothenburg Street Photo Festival 2023 took place in Sweden on September 8-9.
