President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received his authorized representative in Batken region Abdikarim Alimbaev. Press service of the head of state reported.
Abdikarim Alimbaev reported on measures aimed at the socio-economic development of the region, in particular, measures to improve infrastructure, build social facilities, and implement projects in Batken region. He informed that the construction of houses for the affected citizens as a result of the events that took place on September 14-17 in 2022 in Batken, Leilek districts and Batken city was fully completed.
In addition, within the framework of the presidential decree, a master plan was created for Kapchygai and Dostuk villages in Batken region, and according to it, these villages were completely rebuilt.
To date, the burnt houses have been restored, the internal roads of these villages have been asphalted, lighting work has been carried out, and a drinking water system has been laid. In accordance with the acts of civil defense commissions, the owners of houses that burned down and in need of major repairs were paid money in full, those who lost their cars or livestock were also paid monetary compensation.
After listening to the information, Sadyr Japarov stressed that Batken region would continue to receive close attention from the state. All the forces, the amount of resources allocated by the state, are directed to the fulfillment of national goals and objectives. He instructed to pay special attention to the development of the socio-economic situation, the infrastructure of the region, while all projects must be implemented on time without any delays. President Sadyr Japarov emphasized that the solution of the urgent problems of Batken region and its development are one of the priorities of the current agenda.
