Sadyr Japarov visits boarding school No. 1 in Bishkek

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited boarding school No. 1 named after A. Kanimetov in Bishkek on the Day of Knowledge. Press service of the head of state reported.

The educational institution was founded in 1956. Since then, the boarding school has not been renovated. Reconstruction began last year at the initiative of the president. It should be noted that Sadyr Japarov studied at this boarding school-gymnasium in the 9^th and 10^th grades.

During the visit, the head of state got acquainted with the state of educational buildings after the repair work and the activities of the educational institution, and also talked with the staff. The President remembered his school teachers, thanked the teacher Shaiyr Begaliyeva for her professionalism and love for work.

«The education of citizens is the main foundation for the development of the state, and it is laid at school. A lot depends on the teacher; the transferred knowledge helps to form as a person and opens the way to the future for them. Educated youth will always achieve success and contribute to the development of the state. For its part, the state is carrying out reforms in the field of education so that every citizen has access to acquisition of knowledge,» the president stressed.

He shared the plans for the further socio-economic development of the country in the near future, in particular, one more increase in wages for state employees with the staff of the educational institution.
