Tax Service officers extort money in Kemin

Employees of the Department of the Tax Service were detained in Kemin district when taking a bribe in the amount of 200,000 soms. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.

The money was intended for concealing the violations revealed during a tax inspection.

«A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of extortion. The head of the Tax Control and Debt Collection Department as well as the inspector of the department were caught red-handed when taking a bribe of 200,000 soms. Both were placed in the pretrial detention center of the State Committee for National Security,» the state committee said.
