Ombudsperson of Kyrgyzstan Jamilya Jamanbayeva and High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova held an official meeting at the House of Human Rights in Moscow.
The ombudsmen of the two countries signed a protocol on cooperation between the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia and the Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2023-2024.
Jamilya Jamanbayeva noted that «the Institute of Akyikatchi expresses confidence in mutually beneficial cooperation with the Institute of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia».
The Ombudsperson thanked her colleague for supporting Kyrgyzstanis living and working in Russia.
«We highly appreciate every gesture of attention that is shown towards our citizens. We have a number of questions and problems concerning citizens of Kyrgyzstan living in Russia that require special attention and assistance in solving them,» she said.
Tatyana Moskalkova noted that the signing of the protocol on cooperation between the Institutes of Ombudsmen of the two countries is an important historical event of interaction in the protection of the rights of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
