President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will open the first Kok-Boru World Cup among club teams. Spokesman for the president Erbol Sultanbayev reported.
He recalled that the tournament will be held on August 13-20 at the hippodrome in Baktuu-Dolonotu village, Issyk-Kul region.
«The opening ceremony of the event will be broadcast live by NTRK-Sport, on social media pages. The broadcast will start on August 13 at 1 p.m.,» he said.
Earlier it was reported that teams from eight countries will take part in the international tournament: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, USA, Turkey, Hungary and Mongolia.
