According to the results of the first half of 2023, tax revenues from gambling activities amounted to 25,450 million soms. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
The first and only license for operation of a casino in Kyrgyzstan was issued in early May. This gambling establishment transferred 24,750 million soms during this time. Of these, 17 million soms were transferred to the treasury in May and 7,750 million soms — in June.
In addition, other 700,000 soms came to the state budget from the work of bookmaker’s offices and betting houses.
